About Me

Hi! Welcome to my little slice of the internet. I’m glad you’re here.

Growing up in Colorado, I developed a deep love for the outdoors. The simplicity and tranquility of being immersed in nature sparked my passion for preserving the environment. This drive, combined with a natural aptitude for math and science, inspired me to pursue a degree in Environmental Engineering, supplemented by certificates in Renewable and Sustainable Energy and Engineering Management. My enthusiasm for learning led me to engage in research programs, apprenticeships, and internships, ultimately earning the Active Learning Award, which recognized excellence in discovery, service, and professional development.

As an environmental professional, I gained invaluable experience in environmental site assessment and remediation. I honed technical skills such as groundwater and soil sampling while expanding my expertise in project management, asset retirement obligations, and environmental engineering. Thriving in the fast-paced world of environmental consulting, I managed multiple projects, collaborating with co-workers and clients from diverse backgrounds. My ability to connect with people and adapt to different perspectives prepared me well for my current role as a Customer Success Project Manager. In recent years, I earned a graduate degree in Business Administration and obtained my Project Management Professional (PMP) credential, which I intend to leverage as I continue to grow in management roles.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am driven by a love for travel and an eagerness to explore the world. I am passionate about learning new languages, experiencing diverse cultures, and embracing the values and traditions that make each place unique. Traveling has been a part of my life since childhood, and I’m excited to continue this journey. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, I’ve been hiking and camping since I could walk, and I’ve expanded my repertoire to include backpacking, kayaking, biking, skiing, and scuba diving.

I thrive on connecting with others, challenging myself, and embracing adventure. With these passions at my core, I look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”

  1. Hi, Cristina…
I haven’t forgotten you after all these many months, since we got acquainted at the LA Fitness counter! I hope and trust your career i going well. I don’t know whether I mentioned to you that at least two of my books (A Wind Is Rising and Skagit) have environmental themes related to communities coming together to fight off development and environmental degradation. I’d love to have coffee with you sometime and get better acquainted.
    Smiles,
    Robert
